Captain Only Specials PDF Print E-mail

HERE IS OUR NEW "CAPTAIN ONLY" AREA. This type of charter is becoming very popular. Fees are low, often less than a bareboat. Your charter includes the full use of the yacht and equipment AND the services of a captain/guide. You share in the cooking and sailing. Sail as much or as little as you wish. Eat ashore as often as you wish. There is no chef and you pay for all expenses (food/beverage/fuel/dockage if needed).

Check out one or more of these five top selections.

OTEKA  This Lagoon 44 cat is the owners version with the flybridge that everyone loves.  French Captain Pat is a wonderful host and this is a great value @ $6,999 per week for up to four guests. Add $250 for guests number five and six.

CHATEAU This Privilge 42 foot modern cat is a new addition. Fee is $5,899 per week for up to four. More than 4 is $6,500.Also offers as a great "half board". Half board includes seven breakfasts and your choice of lunch or dinner each day. Fees for this plan are $7,500 for four guests; $8,800 for six.

AMARYLLIS is a Prvilege 45 foot catamaran. A great special is offered at $6,500 for up to four guests and $6,999 for up to six guests.

BELLA VITA is a new 46 foot catamaran that offers great rates and a very special Captain Only rate of $6,500 per week for up to six. This yacht has many bookings and can be difficult to book.

OPUS This custom 50 foot "Tri-maran" has three guest cabins and is offered at $4,999 per week.

SOLD THE FARM is a Jeanneau Deck Salon mono-hull. Enjoy captain only terms for $3,500 for two and $4,999 for four.

Fees are for one week, seven 24 hour periods, noon to noon. Fees are "plus" all expenses. You are expected to provision for the captain but not expected to take him to meals ashore. Winter is January to April. CATNAP and TOMCAT have five seasons so call for details. Also call for details on which yachts permit scuba.

Remember, a "Captain Only" charter, when compared to a bareboat charter, offers a better boat with more "bells & whistles" and the services a full time captain. Plus you do not purchase additional insurance as you do not assume liability as you do with a bareboat. Bareboats charge an additional $35+/- per day for mandatory insurance.
